We're a little late starting things off for 2008 here at JOOF, but all good things come to those who wait. We have a plethora of quality releases lined up, starting of with this monster. We are very proud to bring Vibrasphere to the JOOF family. Having two major albums behind them has built an astonishing fan base, this Swedish duo are one of the most sort after bands on the festival circuit and their summer diary is already full! Sitting in-between Psy/Progressive and Trance makes them at home at JOOF.
'Autumn lights' breathes a much needed breathe of fresh air into the Trance scene. This musical, yet epic single has already found its way into the likes of; Astrix, Infected Mushroom, PVD and Above & Beyond's record boxes proving how versatile it is. To top things off, both Alucard & Oliver Prime have come up with some sensational remixes.
This is the best single we've heard for a long time, even if we say it ourselves!!
Anton Chernikov Presents Crystal Verge
‘Kerudu/Bumourbia’
JOOF 45
Our new rules from label boss, John 00 Fleming, have been welcomed with open arms from everyone, many thanks for the support. So sticking with this format of quality rather than quantity, we present to you a regular face at JOOF Recording, our friend from Russia Anton Chernikov. We don’t need words to sell this chap, as his music does all the talking. Two very unique tracks, fitting nicely in-between Progressive and Trance something that is missing in the current market place. So don’t expect any candy here, this is music purely aimed for the dancefloor. One serious piece of kit ;)

John 00 Fleming & The Digital Blonde pres. 00.db - Fused - Whirloop 2008 Re-Master
White Overtone Wizard - Om Shanti
Label boss John 00 Fleming buys much of his music via singles compilations, so he figured it makes sense to sell his artists music this way too. This way DJ’s can buy music for their set all in one hit, via these albums. We have programmed this album so that you have tools for your DJ set, ranging from lush Progressive tracks all the way to some full-on Psy moments. This singles album is packed with new singles from; Star design, M Wearing, Whirloop, White overtone wizard, Steve Birch along with new signings from Norway’s Secret development and Afterbyte. If that’s not enough we’ve even thrown in an exclusive euphoric remix of the Digital Blonde’s classic Legato for good measure.
Enjoy these tracks and feel free to send us a DJ mix of the whole album, who knows we could release it!
Steve Birch - 'Amnesia / Departure Lounge'
[JOOF42]
Amnesia
Departure Lounge
After a short break to rebuild his studio, Steve Birch returns with vengeance. Obviously excited with his new equipment (!) he produced one hell of a killer track! Steve manages to produce euphoric moments, yet keep his credibility in tact, and that’s something we all worry about when we play out ;) These tracks are few and far between and much needed when we need those magical dancefloor moments.
JOOF EP Vol. 03 - M Waering - '5 Terre' / Valve - 'Melancholy'
[JOOF41]
M Waering - 5 Terre
Valve - Melancholy
Label boss John 00 Fleming buys much of his music via singles compilations, so he figured it makes sense to sell his artists music this way too. The Digital Blonde - 'Mandeliva / Moonflux'
[JOOF40]
Mandeliva
Moonflux
Our longest standing JOOF artist returns with yet another mind-blowing double single. We couldn’t decide which track was best, so decided to run with both of them!
The cult Blonde fans will be extremely happy with lashings of melodies and lush emotional strings, after all this is his famous trademark sound.
Already tested on Ministry of sounds radio network, that had an instant response of emails here at JOOF and The Blondes Myspace website.
John 00 Fleming & Wizzy Noise - 'Endelexia'
[JOOF39]
Original Mix
Beetseekers Remix
The Digital Blonde Remix
Jay Selway Remix
John C Remix
Nicholas Bennison Remix
We can hide the fact that this union between two of the most respected Trance producers seems to be a winning combination. Their previous single ‘Cydonia’ received 5 continuous weeks play on BBC Radio 1, one of the weeks being announced ‘Tune of the week’ and another being voted by the listeners and ‘their current favourite’ track!!
John 00 Fleming & Wizzy Noise have taken things in a much more serious direction with ‘Endelexia’. They both share the same passion for their roots of underground Trance music. I think you’ll agree this is one serious slab of Trance music.
Another huge package of quality remixes will ensure that all dancefloors are kept happy, ranging from John C’s awesome Progressive remix to JOOF’s current man of the moment’s, Jay Selway’s Psy edged remix. Fitting perfectly in the middle we have The Digital Blonde and Beetseekers remixes and we welcome the USA’s finest producer, Nicholas Bennison.
I think you’ll agree something for everyone.
Ricky M - 'Bongladesh'
[JOOF38]
Original Mix
This track was discovered by a The Chris (JOOF forum member) who guided John (00) to check a link on the Tranceaddict forum of a new producer. John has always actively hunted and helped new producers, so he obliged and checked the link. The next day it was signed! Ricky M from Ireland has created a 2007 version of Goa Trance era, with all the amazing elements bought right up to date! Apparently written in a few hours after a heavy night out....its no wonder this sounds so trippy??! These kind of tracks can never get recreated, its a one-off wonder, hence why there is just one mix. We think it powerful enough.
0.0db - 'Twister / 8th Day' [JOOF37]
Twister
8th Day
After the huge success of 'Fused' the collaboration between John 00 Fleming and The Digital Blonde continues in the form of this double A side. Our inbox has been flooded with emails the past few months with DJ's asking us for a copy of this when John played it on his radio show. The wait is over and here it is! Twister already seems to be a firm favourite. The huge lead riff makes this a memorable moment in any set, wait until you see the reaction of your dancefloor??!!
We mustn’t forget ‘8th day’. Here we find a deep approach with a beautiful lush breakdown and epic voices. This all gets washed away once the dark thumping beat hits back in laden with dark madness!
00.db seems to be a winning combination and there'll be plenty more where this came from!
James Alexander & Pete Gawtry - 'Lost In You' [JOOF36]
The Digital Blonde Remix
The Digital Blonde Dub
Miika Kuisma Remix
The Digital Blonde inspired this whole project. He was supposed to do a remix on this single the first time around when it was released in 2003. Running out of time in his busy schedule he never found the time to get the remix done. Stumbling across the vocal parts on a recent hard drive back up, Riki Smith aka the genius The Digital Blonde, came up with this awesome remake. I think you’ll agree this is a mind-blowing piece of music that rocks every dancefloor label boss John 00 Fleming has tested it on.
Things get even better (!). The icing on the cake is Miika Kuisma’s remix. We feel progressive music at it’s best. Our friend Miika has certainly found where he’s at musically. This single is already being tipped to be the biggest single/anthem of this year!!
Steve Birch - 'Equilibrium EP' [JOOF35]
Alpha
Spaced Out - Remix
Tibet Calling
Steve Birch is a production machine!! We've never known anyone to churn so many good quality releases out. We already see two artist albums from him this year on JOOF, the second being under his Lucid dreamer guise. We even offloaded a couple of tracks to our good friends at Deep blue who released one of Steve's singles.
So here we find Steve's latest EP. Two solid tracks in the usual Birch trademarked sound. Then we get a treat with a remixed version of ‘Spaced out’ the track that started it all of Steve 3 years ago. This was officially named an dance anthem by the main man Dave Pearce on BBC Radio 1. No doubt this new version will keep him extremely happy!!
John 00 Fleming - 'Rasa Lila' [JOOF34]
Part 1
Part 2
Anton Chernikov Remix
Siberian Sun Remix
Incolumis Remix
John C Remix
Jay Selway Remix
The past 12 months we've seen John 00 Fleming release collaborations with such giants as Christopher Lawrence, Astrix and most recently The Digital Blonde. This being his busiest year to date of Worldwide tour dates, John managed to find time to produce this beautiful single (Taken from his forthcoming artist album 'Nine lives' due out early next year). We hear plenty of Indian influence, especially from the original vocals sung by Deepa Nair surrounded by pulsing bass lines, ethnic pads and driving melodies..... a definite nod back to his Goa Trance roots! In part 2 John takes a tribal direction, but not the usual progressive approach but a 138 Bpm aggressive approach with added British beef. A great package of remixes here, Incolumis, John C and Siberian sun all offer a serious take on ‘Rasa Lila’, while Our very own Anton Chernikov and Jay Selway turn things up a gear or two!!
We thought his last single 'Mahadeva' wouldn’t be topped, we reckon another anthem in the making for sure!!
Anne Savage - 'The Do' [JOOF32]
Original Mix
Steve Birch Remix
James Lawson Remix
Pedro Delgardo Remix
JOOF recording’s are proud to welcome Anne Savage to the JOOF family. Not only is Anne one of the most respected DJ’s in the World but also establishing herself as one of the most forward thinking producers around. Her Dumb Blonde (Breaks) alias is finding itself in the record bags of Sasha, John Digweed and Lee Coombs to name a few. She aims to do the same with this latest offering, opening herself up to whole new clientele proving she isn’t just a Hard DJ/Producer!!
Already ‘The do’ has been road tested by Marco V and he firmly stamped his seal of approval on this gem. The original mix is an outstanding piece of work and we feel it’s strong enough on it’s own. However in JOOF fashion we get our team of remiexers on board to have a twiddle and confuse you even more with some amazing mixes. Steve Birch, James Lawson and Delgardos all came up trumps with outstanding remixes.
JOOF E.P. Vol 2 [JOOF34]
Gavyn Mytchel - Reserection
ASU - Soulmates
This is the second of our 'JOOF E.P.' series. Again we want to give new talent the exposure they truly deserve and these EP's are a perfect way of doing this. Gavyn Mytchel (Gallery, London resident DJ) is not so much a new comer, but someone we feel should be up there with the best. Also Swedish producer Andre Sundburh aka Asu, again a fine producer with raw talent. We think you'll agree, two fantastic releases by two names to watch for.
John 00 Fleming & The Digital Blonde present 0.0db - 'Fused'
[JOOF30]
Original Mix
John 00 Fleming Dub Mix
The Digital Blonde Remix
Oliver Prime Remix
Whirloop Remix
B.E.N. Remix
Viscid Remix
Jay Selway Remix
It was only a matter of time until we saw these two long term friends get back into the studio together again. As the names suggests, the original mix is a fusion between, rock, punk, Trance, electronic and anything else they cared to throw in!! Then came the remixes. I think John & Riki got carried away when asking friends to have twiddle......now we have a mix to suit everyone!! From Riki's own lush euphoric mix, John's deep and dark sexy mix with that nasty sting in the tail. While Jay Selway and Whirloop gives Fused a touch of Psy but ounces of heads down energy. For the serious guys we have JOOF's own favourite Oliver Prime and Viscid offering the progressive fans plenty to think about. Then we have JOOF’s own resident B.E.N adding his full-on hands in the air remix a guaranteed floor filler!
Anton Chernikov present Crystal Verge - 'Evil Spice'
[JOOF29]
Original Mix
The Digital Blonde Remix
Digital download sales have opened up doors to new producers from across the World. We can now concentrate on releasing music that we believe in rather then playing safe and releasing what sells???! This gives us the opportunity to offer new producers like Anton Chernikov from Moscow, Russia a chance to expose his talents. We feel by far one of the best tracks we’ve heard this year. A true take on proper Trance music. If this wasn’t enough our ‘Jewel in the crown’ resident producer The Digital Blonde has made an outstanding remix that was delivered with an array of WOW’s (!!) from the JOOF office.
Beetseekers 'Snappiness'
[JOOF29]
Original Mix
Oliver Prime Remix
So you may recognise this melody from the past? Our man has tactfully remade this timeless classic in to a classy rework suiting today's' dance floor. This has been road tested by label boss John 00 Fleming getting a MASSIVE response! You too will experience the emotion unleashed from this gem. On the flip side we let Oliver Prime get his teeth stuck into things. Fresh from his LSG remix he sprinkled some of his magic dust on this, already HUGE track!
